Role Overview
We are looking for a high-ownership finance professional to build and run end-to-end monthly financial reporting (MIS) and ensure tight control over Accounts Receivable in a fast-growing startup environment. This role requires a hands-on operator who is comfortable with ambiguity, fast closes, and scaling processes as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Close & MIS

  1. Own the monthly close process and preparation of management MIS for leadership review
  2. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data across entities and functions
  3. Perform variance analysis against budget/AOP and prior periods with clear insights
  4. Create, improve, and automate MIS templates and reporting processes as the organization scales


Accounts Receivable & Revenue Controls
  1. Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle, including billing oversight, collections tracking, and reconciliations
  2. Monitor AR ageing, identify risks early, and drive actions to improve collections and cash flow
  3. Partner with Sales, Operations, and Customer teams to resolve disputes and close open receivables
  4. Strengthen internal controls around invoicing, revenue recognition, and receivables


Taxation, Compliance & Audit Support
  • Handle direct and indirect tax computations, filings, and reconciliations
  • Coordinate with external consultants for statutory audits, tax filings, and assessments
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory requirements
  • Support management with financial data for board, investor, and audit requirements


Qualifications & Experience
  1. BCom / M.Com / CA-Inter / Semi-qualified CA (or equivalent)
  2. 7–12 years of experience in controllership, reporting, or core finance roles
  3. Strong hands-on experience with MIS, month-end close, and AR management
  4. Solid understanding of accounting principles and taxation
  5. Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; ERP/accounting system experience preferred
